Zochem, a leading name in the zinc oxide industry, has celebrated its 50th anniversary Canadian Experience Gala at the Dreams Convention Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The milestone event was attended by esteemed local customers, officials, members of the Brampton Board of Trade, Zochem team members, and special guests, all of whom have played a pivotal role in the company’s journey to success. The key attendees were Zochem’s Dream Team members who have fostered a winning organization that is now five decades strong.
The evening commenced with a cocktail reception, followed by a formal program that highlighted Zochem’s strategic initiatives and its enduring partnerships with local community and charitable organizations. The event underscored the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and community service, which have been the cornerstones of its success over the past five decades.
In a gesture of gratitude and social responsibility, Zochem announced donations of $10,000 each to five remarkable charities. Among these, a significant contribution was made to the Rotary International Polio Plus fund. This donation will aid Rotarians in Brampton in their mission to vaccinate approximately 3,000 children worldwide against the debilitating effects of polio. President Mohit Sharma emphasized the crucial role Rotarians play in uniting private sector stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to promote peace and service.
“On behalf of children around the world, particularly in polio-endemic countries, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Zochem,” said a representative from Rotary International. “Your support is instrumental in our fight to eradicate polio and bring hope to countless families.”
The celebration not only marked a significant milestone for Zochem but also reinforced its dedication to making a positive impact in the community and beyond. As the company looks to the future, it remains committed to fostering strong partnerships and driving sustainable growth.
